Job Description
Our client are an Underwriting agency based in the City of London and they are currently recruiting for an experience Insurance administrator to support their Property team. Initially working from home but eventually back in the office
The role requires someone with at least 1 years experience in a similar role within Insurance ( ideally an Underwriters or Brokers ) who has a strong working knowledge of MS Excel (Including formulas) and who also has strong data entry skills.
Some of your key duties will include
- Entering of enquiries, quotes, new and renewal business and endorsements into core underwriting administrative system within agreed time-lines and accuracy targets
- Ensure timely scanning of core risk documentation to relevant folders or document management systems
- Assist in the provision of data verification and integrity checks
- Provide a professional service to brokers, clients and external suppliers in person, writing, email and telephone as and when required
- Maintain and develop key relationships, responding to queries in a timely fashion
This role will offer variety and the opportunity to enhance your insurance knowledge and skills BUT please note this is NOT an Underwriting Assistant role but provides admin support to the Underwriting team
