We have a new and exciting opportunity for an Underwriting Assistant to join this specialist marine based insurance client in the City.

Our client is looking for 1 years experience in the London/Lloyds Insurance market in a technical support position who is looking to move into an Underwriting Assistant role in a niche class of business

This role will NOT suit a graduate-it is probably going to appeal to those candidates with some exposure to the underwriting world looking for their second opportunity.

You will be working in a team of 4 in this niche class of MARINE business supported by the Associate Director of Underwriting providing full administrative support.

Key to this role is your ability to interact at all levels of the business and build relationships. We are looking for exceptional communication skills and strong MS Office skills.

Most importantly you need to demonstrate your genuine interest and knowledge of the market and your commitment to learn.
