Job Description

Our client is an MGA offering a range of Underwriting programmes supported by Lloyd's syndicates and European Insurance Companies and they are urgently recruiting for an experienced Non-Marine Underwriting Assistant to join their team

Your main duties will be to support the Underwriter and

• To review renewal submissions for acceptability
• Keep the renewal and premium tracking spreadsheets up to date with latest data.
• To produce quote slips and binding documentation against original placing specifications once they have signed off by an authorised signatory
• To check correspondence files for information which will assist in the preparation of underwriting data for Sequel Impact
• Processing Invoices / Credit & Debit Notes, FATCA Withholding Statements, Original Premiums, AP's / RP'so Drafting of contract wordings for sign off by an authorised signatory
• Chase any outstanding premium for all contracts.
• Completing Underwriting Sheets with Submission Information.
• Produce Endorsements calculating Additional and Return Premiums

We are looking for candidates who have worked recent experience in a similar Non-Marine Underwriting Assistant role - ideally with an MGA.

Salary upto £40000
