Job Description

We have a great opportunity for a new shift to work with a large and lively team, working for a very well known retailer. This company is impressive; they have grown substantially over recent years due to their mega success. They are financially stable, with a great reputation and people want to work for them. You will be based in their very large, modern, busy distribution warehouse within the Chiller department. This is an ongoing full time temporary role that could lead onto a permanent role for the right candidate.

You must have good communication skills, good level of English both written and oral.


This shift will start from 12 noon to finish between 8.00pm/10.00pm.
It will be from an 8-10 hour shift to roll over a 4 week rota.
Week 1 Monday off
Week 2 Sat/Sun off
Week 3 Thur off
Week 4 Tue/Wed off


Duties will include, loading and unloading products all around the warehouse
You will need to have your own safety boots and wear dark clothes all other PPE will be provided
.
Pay rate will be from £9.00 increasing to £10.14 and £11.97 after 12 weeks worked

You will work from 12 .00pm, arriving fifteen minutes early so you are ready to start. usually finishing-10pm or until the job is done. You can boost your hours up by working on your day off, or earlier or later once you have proved yourself. They are open every day of the year, excluding Easter Sunday, Christmas Day and New Years Day. Everyone works on planned rotas
If you work a Bank Holiday you get paid double time.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need experience working in a fast paced physical environment. You will need to be happy to provide reference details, pass a criminal check and be happy with ad hoc drug and alcohol testing. Due to the location being just outside of Chelmsford town centre, you will need your own car or motor bike; however some flexibility can be considered if you live in Chelmsford and have a push bike.
