Job Title: Upholsterer
Type: Temporary to Permanent
Location: Gloucester
Hours: 42.25hrs

My client is a market leading, family ran furniture designing business which started in the late 80s, who manufactures indoor and outdoor contract furniture for various restaurants, pubs, bars, hotels, coffee shops, canteens and any other venue. They are looking for an Upholsterer to join their dynamic team.

Job Role of Upholsterer:

"Maintaining the smooth running of all aspects of upholstery.
"Careful handling of goods to minimise/eliminate damages.
"A keen eye and attention to detail.
"Cutting out and template making for prototype furniture.
"Upholstering fixed seating and buttoning.
"Able to use a sewing machine competently, safely.
"Experienced in all aspects of contract upholstery.
"Ensure Upholstery Workshop and surrounding area are always kept tidy. This also includes storing goods efficiently and carefully to ensure no damages.
"Packing, wrapping of all upholstered goods.
"Quality check all goods out to ensure no damages/faults.
