Job Description

We are looking for a Valuation Manager for our client who is one of the UK`s leading property and legal services company. You will be responsible for arranging valuations on various types of second-hand properties, proactively following through to completion of a valuation report. Researching through additional sources and concluding the process with a comprehensive report including market recommendations.

The hours of work will be from 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday based in St Ives

Salary is £16k - £20k depending on experience plus Bonus

Valuation managers must be able to work both as an individual and as a team to ensure workload is dealt with in the most effective way. The role is fast paced and requires the individual to be able to multi task and prioritise.
The job role will include:
" Producing a volume of property valuations reports whilst ensuring timescales and targets are met (14 valuations a week)
" Obtaining availability and property details from customers (members of the public) and arranging for estate agents to attend and value property
" Researching comparable properties and analysis of market data
" Collating research and producing accurate market recommendations in the form of a property valuation report
" Use if multiple systems, including web portals and IT systems
" Carrying out additional market research on behalf of clients
" Re-valuations
For this role candidates must be educated to a minimum of GCSE English/Maths (grade A-C) and be able to work well under pressure. Candidates must have customer service experience and IT experience (use of email, typing and internet).
