VAT Compliance Officer - £25,000 - £30,000
Location: Southampton

Are you experienced in VAT Accountancy or Finance? Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity? My client is looking for a full time VAT Compliance Officer to join their busy team in Southampton!

The Company:
Brook Street are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to work with a highly successful, rapidly expanding firm of accountants in the heart of Southampton.

The Role:
You will prepare, review and submit VAT returns. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients ensuring all deadlines are met. The role includes involvement in sectors such as land and property, construction, hospitality, education, international consultancy and many more. In this busy role you will assist with billing procedures and debt collection and ensure a high standard of service at all times.

Your Skills:
You will have experience in a VAT, Accounting or finance role. As a highly organised individual, you will have demonstrable experience of working under pressure. A relevant degree in either Accountancy, Finance or Law is essential. If you are AAT qualified, this will also be beneficial.
