Job Description

My client is seeking to find a manager for a venue in Inverness. As the Senior Manager on-site, you will be directly responsible for all of that site`s operations including:
Management of all colleagues on-site, including customer facing staff. You may be assisted in this task by a small team of Supervisors or Assistant Managers, depending on venue size.
Recruiting, training and developing a high calibre team to assist you in growing the business is a key priority in this role
Proactively researching and identifying growth opportunities within the business and implementing strategies accordingly
Generating reports and becoming a passionate advocate for the success of your team
Maintaining constant accountability for your Key Performance Indicators to the senior management team and Managing Director.
Strict adherence to all organisational policies and legislation

Requirements for this role:-

Previous experience in Retail or Hospitality Management is a MUST Management experience is preferable
Sales-oriented mindset combined with a desire to provide a good atmosphere for staff and customers
Strong leadership qualities are a MUST in this role, with a proven track record in building and maintaining successful, productive and happy workforce
Highly analytical mindset required to be able to observe patterns and spot business opportunity
Outstanding organisational skills are a key requirement, in order to consistently deliver on adherence to policies and legislative requirements and to effectively manage the finances of the business
In the first six months it will be required that you work weekends and have two days in the week off
A keen attention to detail is required to ensure the safety and well being of all customers and staff remain the most important priority on-site
Proactive self-starters thrive in this business - as a growing business, there is plenty of opportunity to contribute meaningfully not only to the growth of your unit but also to the wider company. Venue Managers have a voice in the wider company and are encouraged to participate at all levels
