We are delighted to be supporting our client in their search for a Volunteer Unit Coordinator to join their team on a Temporary to Permanent basis.
The company are a leading provider of rehabilitation services and have a well established volunteer unit which is the area you would be working within. This position includes tasks such as recruitment, training and coaching within a fast paced and varied role.
Your key responsibilities in this position will involve -
Supporting development of the volunteers
Recruiting and training new mentors
Managing risks and carrying out supervisions
Maintaining a high standard of administration and records
Managing conflicting situations
Communicating with all parties to ensure an effective service
The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 Award in Education and Training (PTLLS) or be willing to complete this.
For this role you must hold a high level of written and verbal communication skills in addition to being confident in using IT systems. You will be able to use your initiative and creativity within this role to ensure that all work is correctly prioritised and managed.
Experience in working with volunteers or previous mentoring experience would be beneficial.
This full time position is a Monday - Friday role working 09.00-17.00pm with a 60min lunch break (37 hrs per week).
It can be based within either the Staines, Redhill or Guildford locations.
Paying between 22k-27k for the permanent position (dependant on experience).
