Leicestershire Police are looking to recruit a Volunteer Manager on a contract basis to be based at Headquarters.
This is an exciting challenge for someone who is experienced in recruiting and managing volunteers as well as training to develop them as individuals. This role is key for greater engagement between the police and young people to shape the future of fighting crime. This role is demanding but very interesting and rewarding.
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent and must be able to demonstrate effective verbal and written communication. Management experience is important to this role and the ability to lead and support individuals. The successful applicant will also have excellent computer skills, being able to use Microsoft applications and have the flexibility to travel for work.
The successful candidate will be required to go through the police vetting process.
