Job Description

Our client who has a legacy stretching back 50 years, and works in partnership with an ever growing number of organisations across the voluntary and community, public and private sectors has an opening for a Volunteering Support officer to join their team

The role is full-time 35 hours per week (may include some evenings and weekends) and expected to last to March 2022

Part of the role involves the delivery of a pilot programme, recruiting, supporting and training volunteers to support a heritage programme with community groups based in Belfast which is funded by the PEACE programme. Part of the role is more general community engagement work supporting volunteers and volunteer-involving organisations.

You are a good fit for this role, if you hold a third level qualification or three years full time equivalent experience within the last five years of working in the area of volunteer management with experience of supporting volunteers and volunteer involving organisations

You will be paid an hourly rate of £11.95 per hour, paid on a weekly basis
