Job Description

I have a number of exciting opportunities for a Children`s Residential Support Worker to join a lovely and supportive children`s home in WOLVERHAMPTON which provides essential and valuable care to children and young people aged 7 to 18 yrs who have complex and behaviour needs.

To be successful in this role you will ideally hold the QCF Level 3 in Supporting Children and Young People. You will have a wealth of relevant work experience and be working or willing to work towards a formal childcare qualification. Experience working with children in either a residential setting, outreach, community work, youth work or Pupil referral Unit settings would be beneficial to the RSW role.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and making a positive impact on their lives. You will need to have an open mind and be able to support children who may act out and present you with challenging behaviour. Therefore, previous experience supporting children with EBD or challenging behaviour would be helpful.

The role of a children`s residential support worker can be hard and difficult at times however it is the most rewarding career when you know that you`ve made an impact on that child`s life and future!

Don`t miss out on working for an organisation that values its staff and puts the needs of the children in their care at the heart of what they do! Apply today or call Carina in our Birmingham Care office on 0121 480 8217
