Job Title: Warehouse picker/Administrator
Location: Kirkham, Lancashire
Contract, Temp to perm
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am-4pm, Friday 7:30am-3pm, 39 hours a week, 20 days paid holiday plus bank holidays
Salary: £19,000 per annum
Brook Street is recruiting for a warehouse picker/packer for a growing online retailer and leading supplier of bathroom basins based in Kirkham, Lancashire. You will be working alongside a warehouse person to assist in the smooth daily order processing as well as resolving any after sales issues. We are looking for an individual who enjoys a challenge, will ensure the warehouse administration tasks are preformed to the correct standard and in a timely manner to ensure an efficiently run warehouse and to keep our high customer service standards.
Main roles and responsibilities: -
o Print pick sheets and courier labels for the daily orders
o Contacting customer for delivery information where required
o Booking Pallet Deliveries
o Daily Stock Tallies and quarterly stock take
o Respond to customer product enquiries by email or phone
o Deal with damages and product issues with customers via email or phone
o Assist with stock deliveries
o Assist with picking and packing at peak times
o Book in collections and returns.
You will need to have:
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with customers.
o Friendly and confident telephone manner
o Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
o Microsoft Office experience - word, excel
o A keen eye for detail
o Flexible approach to work.
o Personal driven to succeed with a can do approach.
o On-site parking
o Casual dress - Any PPE equipment will be provided eg footwear, jacket
