Brook Street are recruiting for a Warehouse Assistant located in Basildon for a family run business with over 35 years of experience and are experts in their industry.

As the Warehouse Assistant you will be reporting to the Warehouse Manager undertaking general warehouse duties while adhering to company policies and health and safety. This will be a physically demanding role which requires lots of heavy lifting with loads of up to 25kg.You will also need a high level of accuracy as excellent service to their customers is what drives the business forward.

Due the nature of the position you will need to be a car driver with own your transport.

The role is varied and will require:
Picking and packing goods for dispatch , ensuring paper work is marked off, receiving good in and out and checking against delivery notes.
You will understand and manage stock control and enter movement on digital stock records, unloading and loading vans for deliveries you will also be helping with fitting items for clients needs. Delivery of stock to customers throughout the UK.

This position is offering a salary £18,000 - £22,000 and the working hours are Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm
