General Warehouse Assistant
Preston Area
£10.40 per hour
Night Shifts - Monday to Thursday evening is: 9.45pm till 6.30am
Temporary to permanent

Brook Street is currently recruiting for a General Assistant to work in a busy warehouse. The client is a manufacturing/production factory based in modern premises in Fulwood, Preston.

Your main duties will be unloading vehicles, moving stock and booking in stock.

Other Responsibilities:

* Picking and delivery to machines with electric pallet trucks
* Operating of some light lifting machinery (training given)
* Use of scan guns for scanning, picking and delivery

* Please note: Some heavy lifting involved

Previous experience of working in a warehouse is essential on night shifts.

This is initially a 12 week temporary role with a view to being extended for the right candidate. If successful we have the ability to offer a permanent position dependant on performance.

Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday evening is: 9.45pm till 6.30am finishing Friday 6.30am (total of 33 hours) but then Friday night 6.45pm till 11.15pm (total of 4.5 hours) meaning a total of 37.5 hours per week

Pay rates:
£10.40 per hour paid weekly
