Job Description
Are you a Stores Person/Warehouse Operative and have experience working in a fast paced environment? If so Millbrook Healthcare are recruiting and we are looking for individuals just like you!
The Role:
- Stock Control - Responsible for ensuring stock is correctly issued, received and maintained. Responsible for conducting weekly stock checks Also responsible for goods in and the checking of deliveries against the system
- Decontamination - Responsible for ensuring decontamination is done in line with MHRA guidelines. Correctly quarantined, cleaned and re-packed. Ensuring paperwork is correctly documented, logged and filed creating a clear audit trail
- Closing down Orders - Responsible for closing down all collection orders completed from the previous day. Responsible for raising new documentation to start the decontamination process
- Stock - Responsible for the location of all stock in the warehouse. Responsible for all stock movements/re-locations and creating/deleting Bin locations when required
- Labelling of stock - Responsible for labelling all products within the warehouse with relevant part numbers, serial numbers etc
- Purchase Orders - Responsible for receiving in all stock via purchase orders both physically and electronically. Responsible for raising and logging GRN's
- Special Stock - Responsible for logging special orders and communicating receipts to the Customer Service Centre
- Picking Orders - Responsible for picking stock for all orders. Responsible for labelling stocks with relevant order numbers and patients names
- Repairs - Responsible for carrying out repairs when required to do so
- Administration - Responsible for all paperwork issued to them. Must carry out paperwork within the Millbrook procedures/guidelines
- Stocktake - to assist with annual and interim stocktakes as required
Person:
- Have previous stores/warehouse experience
- Be computer literate - previous experience of stock management systems would be an advantage
- Possess excellent communication skills to interact with internal staff and suppliers
- Be able to work using own initiative but also work well as a part of a team
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have held it for at least 3 years
