Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a leading manufacturer, based within the heart of Cranleigh, Surrey.

Working within a team of 3, you will be responsible for receiving, storing and assembling products to order. Ensuring customer orders are completed to a high standard and dispatched on time to fulfil our client`s commitments to customers.

Key duties:
o Unloading and storing deliveries of supplier parts
o Correct labelling of stored items
o Build and assemble in house products according to daily plans and technical specifications
o Report issues with equipment and materials to ensure health and safety is maintained, and repairs/replacements undertaken so as not to interrupt the operations schedule
o Maintain clean and tidy work area as required, e.g. swarf removal, sweeping floors, keeping workstations clean and tidy
o Opportunities for Fire Warden, First Aider etc if training given and passed

The successful applicant will be adept to working within a Warehouse/Production environment, be physically fit and able to lift heavy items. If you have a Forklift qualification, then this would be advantageous.

This position is to start work immediately on a temporary basis, with the view to securing a permanent contract following 12 consecutive weeks of temping.

Hourly pay rate of £9ph, paid weekly in arrears.
