Warehouse Operative

I am currently looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative for a company just on the outskirts of Warwick. The hours are 08:30 - 5pm Monday to Friday with flexibility required for business needs.

In this position you will assist in the day to day requirements of a busy warehouse providing a smooth and efficient service whilst maintaining compliance with company rules and regulations.

We are looking for someone that is personable with excellent communication skills as you will be required to build strong relationships with Customers. You will be numerate and be able to work with numbers to perform calculations. This position will also require you to be physically fit and able to lift and carry equipment following Health & Safety procedure.

Main duties include -
Load/unload vehicles manually and using forklifts where possible
Ensure loads are correct product, number and secure for transit
Ensure that stock leaves warehouse labelled and in clean condition
Check returning stock for damaged or missing items and complete return notes accurately
Ensure that stock is stored safely
Inspect and report daily any defects to tools and equipment directly to the Warehouse Manager

Essential Requirements
Experience working in a Warehouse
Driving licence

Desirable Requirements
A counterbalance licence is highly desirable however training will be provided if you do not hold a current one
Health & safety/first aid knowledge
