Job Description

Brook Street Recruitment is working with our client in Mallusk to recruit a new full time and permanent Warehouse Operative

Duties:

• Loading and off-loading deliveries, booking in stock and dispatching traded jobs
• Using Counter Balance Forklift Truck as directed and required in a safe and proper way
• Checking in and unloading Goods Inwards, recording all discrepancies, location of stock in the proper location with correct identification.
• Order picking and processing in an efficient and accurate manner.
• Reporting all defective equipment to management.
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles, ensuring all material being loaded/unloaded matches the paperwork.
• Control, identity, stocking and rotation of product.
• Participation in the company`s personal performance and development process, and the undertaking of training and development relevant to your job.
• Ensuring that the quality and presentation of the product being dispatched is of a high standard in accordance with the company`s quality statement
• Assisting Sales and Administrative staff with ad-hoc tasks as required.

Criteria

• Must have stable work history - no job hopping every 6 months
• Must hold a Counter Balance forklift licence - min two years` experience
• Physically fit for manual handling and outdoor working

Desirable

• Combi lift

£11.60 per hour to start - rising to £12.60 hour after probation
Working 39 hrs per week: Mon-Thurs 8.30am - 5.30pm, Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm.
28 days paid holidays
