We have a great opportunity in York for experienced Warehouse Operative with Immediate start!

Our client has been busy over the last few weeks and is now looking to grow their team with full time position, temporary - initially till end of August 2021 with possibility to be extended. This position is working Monday - Friday 8am-4pm.

Main duties and responsibilities:
" Goods Receipt Manage inbound deliveries, including booking in and putting away
" Unload Vehicles
" Monitoring and analysing supplier conformance and compliance
" Shipping Picking materials as per picking list Packing and booking of goods as per packing individual instruction
" Handover of goods to freight forwarders and coordination in a timely manner
" Warehouse Adherence to FIFO.
" Initiation and coordination of external warehousing and logistical transfers
" Carrying out inventory-related tasks, support for inventory controls Coordination of material flow to, from and within production (line feeding)
" Adherence to Company Quality and Health & Safety procedures

The right candidate must have:
" Willingness to adapt to and learn within new areas
" Proven team player
" Must be accurate and have good attention to detail
" Able to work on own initiative Continuously looking for improvements
" Excellent IT skills essential
" Able to work flexibly and to strict timelines to meet deadlines and targets
" Fluent written and spoken English Excellent communication skills
