Brook Street is recruiting for Temporary Warehouse Operatives in Northampton to work on both a full time and a part time basis with immediate starts available just in time for Christmas! We will be arranging coaches employees to and from Northampton which will be leaving from central Peterborough. Transport should be an hour each way which we will pay you for. Hours are flexible and you can chose which days and shifts you work.

Please note you will be required to pass a criminal record check to start in this role.

Socially distanced conditions will be practised in line with government guidelines regarding Covid-19, you will need steel cap boots and full training will be provided.

Job responsibilities:
o Load and unload packages from company vehicles, scan, sort and label them as required
o Report any issues that arise - such as damaged packages or prohibited items
o Maintain Royal Mail's excellent standard of service to their customers

About you:
o Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
o This is physically demanding position that involves a lot of walking and some heavy lifting depending which area you are working in.
o Previous experience in a warehouse environment (as a picker or packer) is ideal but not required
o Availability immediately and for the full duration of your assignment
o Good communication skills

Shifts Available / Pay Rates:
Monday - Friday
6am-2pm £10.80 per hour
2pm-10pm £10.80 per hour
10pm-6am £11.80 per hour

Saturday - Sunday
Saturday 10pm-6am £12.30 per hour
Sunday 6am- 2pm £11.50 per hour
Sunday 2pm-10pm £11.50 per hour
