Job Description

Due to business growth and departments merging, a 6 month fixed term contract has become available for an experienced Warehouse Operative to work in a stores environment; you will be the support network for the stores assembly team.

The company are driven by technology and are specialists in precision engineering using the latest information to ensure they are delivering the best service globally and worldwide to there clients.

We are looking for a proactive individual who loves to be on the go - this is a manual and labour-intensive job as you will be picking items which are to be made in to build components which are to be shipped anywhere over the world.

These items can be as small as a sim card to larger items weighing up to 25kg, you will also be responsible for accurate stock checking.

You will be part of a small team therefore it is essential you work well within a team and can communicate well but also must be able to work well on your own initiative.

This is a offered on a Fixed Term contract you will be available to start immediately, have experience of working within a similar environment.

If you have worked with Navision or have similar MRP experience, this is a huge bonus.

There is room for progression within this role.

Hours of work would be, 37 per week and over time would be available depending on business needs and work load, hours are typically 07.30 - 16.00 Monday - Thursday and 12.30 finish on Fridays! You would be expected to work Saturday mornings if work load permitted - Saturdays are paid at over time.

Pay £18,000 per annum.

You will ideally have a Reach Fork Lift Truck Licence to be considered for this role.
