Job Description

My client who are a distribution company are looking for an Evening Warehouse Supervisor to work Monday to Friday 30 hours per week. You will be required to work 3pm -9pm.

Your duties as a Warehouse Supervisor will be to to oversee their busy warehouse team of around 7 operatives. You will be responsible for the team, ensuring that goods are correctly unloaded, sorted and reloaded, ready for despatch. Whilst this is a hands on role, it is important that you organise and manage your team effectively and motivate them to ensure that we reach our objectives.
Some manual handling is required with the majority of our freight being bagged packages and small parcels.
Their ideal candidate will be able to mentor team members within a warehouse environment, have a positive attitude and be used to working to tight deadlines.

A forklift licence would be an advantage but not essential as would previous experience in this type of role.
The full time salary will be £24K but on a pro rata basis it will be £18K. Other benefits include free car parking.
