Job Description

Are you an experienced Welder Technician looking for a new opportunity offering an excellent salary, sociable shift pattern and competitive employee benefits?

Our client has decades of experience in the high-tech manufacturing industry and have worked with some of the biggest names around.

You will be working alongside and highly motivated and skilled workforce.
Management is very open and accessible and team leaders will assist with any problems.

The shop floor is well structured, organised and professional. The business is continuously developing to support and grow with their current and new "World Leader" customer base.

  • Standard working week 39 hours
  • Hours: 8am until 4:30pm Mon - Thurs 8am - 3:30pm Friday
  • Overtime (as available) Rate 1.3 x hourly rate
  • Holidays: 23 days per year plus 8 bank holidays

  • Flexible working hours - as long as it is suitable to the business
  • MIG Welder - £12.50-14.00 per hour depending on experience
  • TIG Welder £12.50- £16.00 per hour depending on experience

To be successful in this role you will have to carry out assembly/welding operations as directed by the Team Leader, or with others who have an input into the job, to manufacture, or assist in the manufacture of any tooling necessary for the production of components.
You will also have to liaise with customers and suppliers to overcome assembly/welding of equipment problems, to inform the Team Leader of any special tools or tooling needed for the production of components to minimise delays.

Requirements:

  • Certified MIG / TIG Welder
  • Thin Wall Tube
  • Level 6G, ASME, Pipe to Plate
  • Structured and diligent approach to working
  • Flexible attitude and strong work ethic
