Job Description

Job title: Wellbeing Adviser
Location: Hybrid working, Monday .
Contract: 12 months
Hours: Friday 37hrs per week and offer flexi hours
Pay: £37,120

Job summary:
The Wellbeing Adviser reports to the Head of People Management & Wellbeing, within the People Directorate. The role is responsible for all aspects of promoting the wellbeing of employees and overseeing peer support provision through STREAM (Stress and Trauma Resilience Employee Assistance Model).

Duties:

" Lead, co-ordinate and facilitate the Wellbeing focus groups for the IOPC, ensuring a multimodal and collaborative approach to Wellbeing
" to be the specific point of contact with regards to all aspects of wellbeing, providing up-to-date advice and knowledge of best practice to enable the IOPC to be a great place to work.
" Responsible for keeping the systems up to date with developments regarding workplace wellbeing initiatives and psychological wellness provisions through both internal and external networking and leading necessary changes
" Champion Wellbeing across the organisation
" To work with the wider people management team to support staff who might be adversely affected by aspects which impact upon wellbeing and ensure they are referred or signposted to appropriate services
" To work with the Head of People Management and Wellbeing to regularly review the Wellbeing Strategy and action plans
" Lead on improving the wellbeing of staff and co-ordinate wellbeing activities
" Collaborate with wider organisation to develop an organisational culture to support the wellbeing of staff
" To provide professional line management of STREAM practitioners and STREAM Managers
" Lead Safeguarding within the company
" Lead the Domestic Violence policy and provision at the company
" Contribute to the development of Wellbeing guidance
" Collaborate across teams to champion all aspects of wellbeing provision, sickness absence reduction and improvements in staff wellbeing

What we are looking for:
" Specialist knowledge of promoting wellbeing in the workplace and oversight of peer support practitioners
" Trauma Risk Management (TRiM) and Sustaining Resilience at Work (StRaW) Practitioner or equivalent frameworks.
" Hold a Mental Health First Aid Qualification or willing to work towards
" Experience of developing, delivering and facilitating high quality training to professional and experienced staff
