Are you an experienced domestic violence support worker with a kind and compassionate personality? If so we have the perfect role for you!

We are looking for experienced and motivated Domestic Violence Hostel workers with flexibility to work Sleeping shifts/days and weekends. This opportunity is to join our temporary staff team to work in women's refuge hostel in Ellesmere Port. If you are in between roles or looking for experience to build up your portfolio then this position will provide you with the flexibility to do just that!

The role includes updating daily logs, emotional support and guidance to residents, assisting with budgeting, room checking and helping with group activities

To be successful in this role you will be a friendly, confident and outgoing individual with emotional intelligence who can empathise with others. You will be a decision maker who can take control of situations and problem solve effectively.

You will need recent experience of working in a similar role or environment and have a drive to expand your knowledge and experience in this sector. An understanding of domestic violence and mental health problems is essential.

The pay rate for this role is £8.50 per hour and the benefits would include double pay on bank holidays, accrued holiday pay, flexibility, reward and recognition including temp of the month awards and 24 hour support from our friendly consultants 365 days a year.
