Job Description

Workshop Admin Support
Inverness
£22k

This role will be based with a business based on the outskirts of Inverness, you will need to be a car driver to apply. Based on a 37.5 hour week over five days, this role will report to the Workshop Manager.

The role includes:
Oversee the workshop diary, scheduling technicians to jobs and overseeing the timely completion of paperwork and invoicing once jobs are finished.
Work closely with everyone in the wrokshop team to ensure parts for jobs are ordered in time for customer bookings and details are uploaded within the finance and parts ordering systems.
Prepare formal estimates for potential workshop jobs using accounting software.
Ensure relevant paperwork is passed in a timely manner to the accounts team.
Respond to workshop and shop email enquiries.
Support the workshop manager with administrative tasks such as preparing and issuing invoices.
Actively seek new opportunities for workshop business, cross-selling and upselling a wide range of accessories and extras to campervan, motorhome and caravan owners.
Assist the sales and workshop teams by sourcing and pricing retail items for customer enquiries.
Identify opportunities to market and promote the company`s workshop services.
Assist the workshop manager in meeting H&S legislation requirements for the workshop and maintain training records for HCV staff.


It is essential you have customer service skills, are a strong communicator, both written and verbal, have a confident and outgoing personality; friendly telephone manner, competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications, good at prioritising workload, ability to remain calm under pressure throughout the busy periods, ability to embrace change and committed to personal development with a good attention to detail.

Desirable
It would be desirable if you could demonstrate experience in selling luxury products/services, experience of a busy workshop, knowledge of acounting software, an understanding of H&S and COSHH regulations, a knowledge of the Highland area and experience in the travel and tourism industry.
