This Chesham based door manufacturers are looking to recruit a Workshop Assistant to join their current team of workman

The employer manufacture very high end bespoke and made to order front doors.

As a Workshop Assistant you will be working alongside a small joinery team on general door assembly and wood machining. General work will involve paint spraying, joinery work and assembly. If you are looking at starting a career where you will receive full training in joinery and spraying then this is the perfect role for you.

You will have the ability to work with various hand tools and wood machinery, have the ability to learn on spraying and finishing doors and also have a willingness to work and train on CNC machining. The ideal candidate will be able to assist the joiners in daily tasks and enjoy working as part of a team. The company welcomes people who can read and understand CAD drawings but this is not essential.

In return the company offer a very competitive salary of £20,000.00-£23,000.00 per annum depending on experience. They also offer 21 days holiday, pension scheme and onsite free parking.

The role is full time working 08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday work.
