Yard Administrator

Job Description

Brook Street is working with our client in Belfast who is recruiting a Yard Administrator to join their expanding team.

Duties

  • Attention to detail to ensure correct containers are booked in and out
  • Liaise with external hauliers to ensure that customer's requests are met.
  • Liaise with customers ensuring that customer requests and queries are met and dealt with efficiently and effectively
  • Container stock managing moves in/out, rotation and stock checks
  • Microsoft skills such as excel, word, access.
  • Communicating with customers via email, phone, and accurate daily reporting.
  • Maintaining and enforcing good health and safety practices for all staff and visitors.

Essential Criteria

  • Ability to make quick decisions and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Good numeracy skills and effective communication skills
  • PC Literate
  • Good time management skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised and be a team player.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines.


Beneficial to have a forklift licence

Role will involve working Monday to Friday between 7.30am and 5pm

Salary will be confirmed on application - circa 28k per year
