Job Title: Depot Yard Operative
Type: Temporary to Permanent
Location: Bishops Cleeve
Hours: 42.5hrs

My client is a specialist waste disposal company based in Bishops Cleeve. They are looking for a Depot Yard Operative to join their busy team on a temporary to permanent basis.

Job Role of Depot Yard Operative:
Organise parking of vehicles in depot, and ensure LGV`s are in assigned parking bays.
Carry out weekly stock takes of bins and containers, and ensure minimum standards are ALWAYS maintained. Create reports for stock take and feed these back to office.

Organise for delivery of below-stock items.
Assist with loading/unloading of bins onto delivery/collection vehicles.
Ensure grounds are maintained to a high standard, and all external and agricultural areas are kept clean, tidy and presentable.
Maintaining all bins and containers, and ensuring they are kept presentable at all times.

Desired Experiences for Machine Operative:
Competent in operating maintenance equipment safely.
Willingness to work in all weathers and conditions.
Driving License essential.
Ability to work in a team, and initiative to work alone.
Flexible to working hours to ensure smooth and secure operation at depot.
