Job Description

I am currently recruiting for an independent charity based in York who are seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to join their team.

The charity aims to to help support vulnerable young people between the ages of 5-18. you will have regular 1:1 sessions with them and the successful applicant will have to evidence their work with a effective report and case management.

This position is one year fixed term the possibility to extend this depending on funding. The position is 22 hours per week with the opportunity for over time and you must be flexible to work on both evenings and weekends.


The role will involve promoting the needs and rights of carers to a broad range of agencies including school and health and social care providers.

To be considered for an interview you will have a relevant professional qualification such as Level 2 health and social or Childcare. You will have GCSEs and experience in Youth Working, you must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

You will also have IT skills such as Microsoft and have knowledge of relevant legislation including Carers Rights and the Care Act ETC.
