We are recruiting on behalf of the client who are looking for individuals to support with families and babies. The service is due to open mid to end of February looking for temporary staff.

You will be supporting within a 5 bedded service for families and young babies, you will be there to support the families and the babies and essentially be a professional parent. You will be monitoring the cv, encouraging the parents and engage and communicate to support the parents.

For this opportunity knowledge of young babies and working with families would be essential so you can deliver the right level of support. You must be able to work on your own as some shifts especially during the night require you to be independent and lone work.

Essential
Experience in the social care sector
Experience of young people, families and babies
Flexible to work waking nights
Desirable
DBS on the update service
NVQ Level 3 in children and young people
