We have a brand new opportunity working on a temporary basis supporting young people with emotional behavioural difficulties?

The role of the young people support worker is supporting individuals with emotional behaviour difficulties, they can present challenging behaviour and self harm. You won`t be lone working but your role is to be a companion for these young people. You will be assisting with activities, watching films but most importantly monitoring them at all times. Some of the young people have a CSE background. You will be working days and sleeps therefore you must be flexible to work long shifts with sleeps.

The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience working with young people and have skills they can use in this new role. You will be reliable, passionate and able to engage with young people.

We are looking for individuals who have a minimum of 1 years work experience within the social care sector or 6 months with a relevant social care qualification such as an NVQ.
