Job Description

We are recruiting for a Youth Worker for Waking Nights for a fantastic establishment specialising in working with young people who have experience homelessness!

The role of the youth project worker for this service is working nights supporting individuals who are aged 16-25 years old. The duties include providing support to the residents, offering advice and guidance and ensuring the health and safety of the individuals there. You are also expected to check the CCTV to ensure the building is safe.

You will be a supportive person who can communicate well with young people. You will be a calm individual who is proactive and can diffuse situations well. The role is working for a well established organisation for the potential for for permanent opportunities. If you have experience working within the homeless sector this would be preferable.

If you have previous experience of working within the social care sector (minimum of one year) or 6 months experience with a social care qualification and have the passion and commitment to make a difference to the lives of young people we would love to hear from you!
