Youth Support Worker (Housing)

Swansea

£8ph and up + Holiday and Pension Contribution

Here at BS Social Care we are looking for an experienced Support Worker to work with a leading care provider. They are looking for an enthusiastic individual to provide support in young people's support services.

Your role will be to individuals with a range of issues, such as mental health, offending, substance misuse, trauma with their housing related issues. You will be expected to help the young services users with anything they may need be that aid with tenancy agreements, benefits or emotional support.

This will be an ongoing arrangement, flexible due to the needs of the service. This would be ideal for someone with other commitments, university or another job.

Successful candidates will have a minimum of one years practical experience within the care sector and restraint training is desirable. Being a driver with access to your own vehicle is desirable but not essential. They will also have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills. A DBS on the update service is desirable as we are aiming for the contract to start as soon as possible.
