Hub Assistant - Inverness, UK (Part Time - Tuesdays)

Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the community hub, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service to visitors and service users.
- Support the organisation and facilitation of community events and activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within the hub.
- Manage bookings and enquiries, ensuring accurate record-keeping and effective communication.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and reporting.
- Collaborate with team members and external partners to deliver community programmes.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable manner.
- Previous experience in customer service, administration, or community support roles is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to community spaces.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and community needs.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in customer service, administration, or community engagement are advantageous.
- Please note this role is Tuesdays only, it is a part time role - initially on a temporary basis, but it could lead to a permanent position. 9 am - 5.00 pm with holiday cover required, details in advance.
