Salary: £32000
Are you a Deputy Manager ready to take the next step, or a seasoned Care Manager looking for a fresh challenge? We're looking for someone special to lead an established residential service in Shirley, supporting adults with learning and physical disabilities.
This is a chance to take the reins of a well-established, GOOD-rated service and make it your own. You'll be joining a team that's passionate about delivering person-centred care - and you'll have the opportunity to inspire, guide, and grow alongside them.
Your role will include:
- Leading the day-to-day running of the service with confidence and care
- Supporting and developing your team through supervision and training
- Overseeing assessments, reviews, and smooth transitions for new residents
- Ensuring care plans are truly person-centred and meaningful
- Maintaining high standards of quality and compliance with CQC and company policies
- Driving continuous improvement through audits and monitoring
- Managing budgets and resources with a steady hand
- Handling HR responsibilities, from recruitment to staff well-being
- Promoting best practice in infection prevention and control
I am looking for someone who:
- Has a strong background in supporting people with learning and physical disabilities
- Is either an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step up, or a Registered Manager seeking a new opportunity
- Holds (or is working towards) a Level 5 qualification in Leadership & Management for Adult Care
- Brings proven leadership skills and a genuine passion for people management
- Has a solid understanding of CQC regulations and a commitment to delivering outstanding care
What we offer:
- The chance to lead a GOOD-rated service with the backing of a supportive senior team
- Real autonomy to shape your service and build a team you're proud of
- A competitive salary, ongoing training, and clear pathways for career progression
