Registered Manager - Learning Disabilities Service
📍 Shirley | Residential | 6-bedded mixed service | Adults (30-65)
Rated GOOD by CQC

Are you an experienced Deputy Manager ready for your next step, or an established Care Manager looking for a new challenge? We are recruiting for a Registered Manager to lead our 6-bed residential service for adults with Learning Disabilities (LD) and Physical Disabilities (PD), based in Shirley.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a well-established, GOOD-rated service and to inspire, support, and develop a dedicated care team.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead and direct the day-to-day management of the service

  • Provide staff supervisions, training, and development

  • Oversee new resident assessments, reviews, and smooth transitions

  • Ensure person-centred care and support planning

  • Maintain high standards of quality and compliance with company policies and CQC requirements

  • Complete audits, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Manage budgets, finance, and resources

  • Oversee HR responsibilities, including recruitment, performance management, and staff well-being

  • Champion infection prevention and control standards

About you:

  • Strong background in Learning Disabilities / Physical Disabilities

  • Experienced Deputy Manager seeking progression, or an established Care Manager

  • Hold a Level 5 in Leadership & Management for Adult Care (or equivalent, or working towards)

  • Proven team leadership and people management skills

  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and commitment to high-quality care
