Registered Manager, Adults Autism & Learning Disabilities



Permanent, Full Time with generous benefits. Liverpool based.

Are you interested in being considered for a Registered Manager role joining a reputable organisation who will be opening a brand new service in early 2026 for adults with autism/learning disabilities?

About the role:

  • We are seeking a Registered Manager to join an established organisation who provide specialist support to adults with autism and/or learning disabilities

  • As the RM you will be responsible for the service delivery of a 6 bedded residential home, setting up the service in line with CQC standards, leading and managing a team of support staff including Seniors and Support Workers.

  • You will play a pivotal role in maintaining operational excellence, developing staff, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Your knowledge around safeguarding, compliance, business development, transitioning people into services and effective performance management will be key.

  • Liaising with and communicating with all stakeholders, other partners, families and colleagues

  • Ensuring all rotas and risk assessments and support plans are up to date.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management or equivalent qualification in social care.
  • Proven experience in adult social care, particularly within learning disabilities and autism services.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrable experience in care management, including service development and quality assurance.
  • Understanding of adult services, with specific awareness of learning disabilities and autism and transitioning new services.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyse data, produce reports, and implement strategic improvements.
