Team Leader - Children's Residential Home (EBD) | Greenford, West London

Salary: Up to £14.50 per hour
Sleep-in shifts paid at £50/night
Location: Greenford, West London
Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Setting: 3-bed EBD Children's Home

Are you a compassionate and experienced Senior Support Worker or Team Leader looking to make a real impact in the lives of children and young people? We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Team Leader to join a nurturing 3-bed residential children's home supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) in Greenford, West London.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and manage the staff team to meet the individual needs of the children and ensure each shift runs smoothly.

  • Actively participate in care planning, reviews, and direct work with young people.

  • Supervise, support, and develop team members in line with regulatory and internal standards.

  • Promote a safe, structured, and supportive home environment.

  • Deputise in the absence of the Registered or Deputy Manager.

  • Monitor and manage day-to-day operations, shift planning, and resource allocation.

  • Liaise with external professionals and attend meetings as required.


What We're Looking For:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) - Essential

  • At least 12 months of experience in a similar role in a residential setting.

  • Proven experience supervising staff and managing challenging behaviours.

  • Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.

  • A sound understanding of safeguarding, children's legislation, and Quality Standards.

  • Full UK Driving Licence - Desirable
