Administration Officer Role - Birmingham
Full-time | 37 hours per week | Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm | £12.36 p/hr rising to £12.53 p/hr in your thirteenth working week | Temporary assignment for six months, with the potential for extension. This role is fully onsite.
We are currently recruiting for an Administrative Officer to work for our Public Sector client. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by helping to ensure that court cases progress through the court/tribunal system.
What you'll be doing:
- Preparing papers and files for court, tribunals, hearings and meetings.
- Producing court/tribunal documents.
- General photocopying and filing.
- Creating and updating records on in-house computer system and data input.
- Post opening and dispatch.
- Booking, preparing and organising meeting rooms, supporting training courses and other group activities.
- Preparing meeting agenda, joining instructions, handouts etc.
- Clerking civil and family courts, tribunals and hearings, ensuring papers and materials are available and up to date
- Processing casework, including standard documentation and information, court orders, claims, fines and fees, legal aid
About you:
You'll have excellent communication and organisational skills. Strong IT skills in Microsoft applications. Having previous experience within administration is a must, and full training will be provided on their internal systems.
Successful candidates for this role will be subject to a DBS check and 3 years of referencing.
