Requirements:

o Minimum one year`s experience in Administration.
o GCSE Maths and English or equivalent qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greeting patients and visitors, making them feel welcome and providing a professional first point of contact
• Booking, amending, and cancelling patient appointments in line with practice procedures, ensuring efficient use of appointment systems
• Entering and updating patient details on IT systems and maintaining accurate records
• Answering telephone enquiries, directing calls to appropriate staff, and handling messages
• Assisting patients with queries, calming or reassuring nervous or upset patients and relatives
• Managing general reception duties such as filing, photocopying, data input, ordering stationery, and maintaining a tidy reception area
• Supporting communication between patients, doctors, and other clinical staff, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Working Hours:

o Band 2 - Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Rate of pay is £12.21 per hour and will be paid on a weekly basis
