Job Advert: Temporary Administrative Officer
Location: Cardiff
Salary: £12.98 per hour
Hours: Full-time

We are currently seeking a Temporary Administrative Officer to provide administrative support in a busy office environment. This is a full-time, temporary position based in Cardiff, offering a competitive hourly rate of £12.98.

The successful candidate will be required to follow established procedures while exercising independent judgment in carrying out tasks under general supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Temporary Administrative Officer, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Collating and analysing complex information or data, and preparing clear, concise written reports.

  • Overseeing administrative procedures and ensuring efficient processes are followed.

  • Assisting with budget preparation and control, when required.

  • Acting as an administrative liaison with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Preparing routine correspondence and handling other administrative tasks as needed.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
To be considered for this role, you should have the following:

  • Five GCSEs at Grade C or above (including English Language or equivalent), or other relevant qualifications.

  • NVQ in Business Administration Level 2, or suitable clerical experience.

  • Proven administrative experience, with a solid understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to interact professionally with a range of individuals.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Ability to follow set procedures and exercise independent judgment when required.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • A proactive and flexible approach to work.

  • Good time management, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
