DESPATCH OPERATOR (Temp Post)

Our client based in Alness, Ross-shire is looking for a Despatch Assistant. This is initially a temporary contract to start ASAP - working Monday to Friday 8 - 4pm. The role could lead to a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

We are looking for a reliable and organised Despatch Operator to join our client's team in a busy processing factory. The role involves preparing, packing and loading orders accurately and efficiently to ensure all produts are despatched on time and to the correct standard.

Key responsibilities:-

Pick, pack, label and palletise products for customer orders.
Check product quality, weights and labelling.
Load and unload product safely.
Ensure all work meets hygiene, food safety and health & safety standards.
Keep despatch and chill areas clean and well-organised.

Requirements:-

Experience of working in a food processing plant environment is advantageous.
Good attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
Physically fit and able to work in a chilled environment.
Team Player and good communication skills.

This is an urgent requirement to start as soon as possible. Only candidates local to Alness will be considered.
