Digital Officer- Remote
Salary- £29,45015.00-£16.18 pay rate
Contract Type: Full-Time- Temporary 3 months
Main Purpose of the Post:
My client is seeking a Digital Officer to play a key role in delivering engaging digital communications and content. This dynamic role will involve developing, executing, and analysing email marketing campaigns, updating the website, ensuring seamless CRM integration, and supporting a variety of graphic design needs across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Platforms:
- Manage content updates for the website and events platform, ensuring relevance for target audiences and campaigns.
- Test website functionality for events, donation forms, surveys, petitions, and automated emails.
- Implement SEO best practices across the website to enhance user experience and visibility.
- Collaborate with external web developers to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Support the resolution of issues with the Job Hub and liaise with the member services team.
- Provide digital communications activity reports and evaluate performance alongside the Website and Brand Manager.
Digital Communications Programme:
- Oversee day-to-day digital communications, including drafting, building, and distributing emails using Mail chimp to engage with our 50,000 contacts.
- Develop user journeys and send personalised communications to increase engagement and income.
- Collaborate with the Data Officer to define segmentation and targeting for campaigns.
- Support the integration of Impact Stack into digital communications and manage any technical troubleshooting.
- Assist in the delivery of mass communications and appeals, incorporating social and new media channels.
- Produce materials for national conferences, fund-raising activities, and business development initiatives.
- Ensure brand consistency across all communication materials.
- Manage relationships with printers and suppliers to produce cost-effective digital and printed assets.
Administrative:
- Maintain a Digital Asset Management system, categorising and tagging materials for easy access.
- Use Microsoft Planner to schedule and monitor project deadlines and dependencies.
Person Specification:
Essential:
- Proficient in WordPress and content management systems.
- Experience using Mailchimp, CRM systems, and campaign platforms.
- Knowledge of SEO, digital communications, and website management.
- Experience with Canva, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop.
- Ability to create and evaluate website and digital content.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
