We are immediately recruiting for an experienced International Claims Manager with strong experience of Australian Property and Casualty Claims (APAC)
This is a fully remote role with only monthly visits to their City of London office
Some of your main responsibilities will include:
- Management and oversight of International (APAC) Claims Team
- Provide high quality reporting for the monthly Claims Committee, highlighting issues with claims performance and workloads, claim trends or developments, new notifications and significant claim movements
- Oversight of allocation of claims amongst teams
- Ensure Claims are settled within specific handling times and Clients kept updated with the progress of their Claim
- Management and control of complex claims
- Building, developing, and maintaining close working relationships with Clients, ensuring a consistently high standard of service is provided
- Managing and promptly resolving all external and internal queries
- Producing claims information and presenting to insurers/reinsurers, either in written or networked format; and dealing with any resultant instructions, queries and enquiries
- Monitoring insurers' agreement and payment of funds and ensuring that payments are made to the appropriate beneficiary
The key skills and experience required
- Strong Claims Understanding of Australian Property and Casualty business
- Strong Attention to Detail and natural Problem-Solving skill
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise work accordingly
- Proactively identifies and attempts to resolve issues
