Administrative Assistant - Clerking Team -
Are you organised, proactive, and thrive when things move fast? We're looking for a strong Administrative Assistant to join our clients busy clerking team at a well-established Legal Firm. This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same, and full training will be provided.
This is a Full-time, office-based role (8.30am - 5.30pm, 1-hour lunch) starting on a temporary basis with the view to become permanent.
What You'll Do
Keep barristers' diaries and caseloads running smoothly
Be the first point of contact for clients and solicitors
Help negotiate fees and manage case bookings
Support billing, payments, and Legal Aid submissions
Maintain accurate records and prepare reports
Provide cover for colleagues as needed
What We're Looking For
Excellent admin skills with strong attention to detail
Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Confident, professional, and personable with clients and colleagues
A team player who takes initiative and keeps things running smoothly
Legal experience is a bonus but not essential
