Job Description

Our client is an innovative Lloyd's market Underwriters who have a newly created Marketing Manager role to be responsible for setting up all of their marketing function and activity.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing their marketing strategy as this will be a broad based and very varied position.

This role will suit an experienced Marketing Manager who has the breadth of Marketing knowledge and skills to set up a new marketing function, who is innovative and quite technically aware and already has some working knowledge of the London insurance market.

This is a standalone marketing role - therefore you will need strong wide ranging marketing skills and experience and the ability to communicate effectively externally and at senior level internally

You will lead their marketing campaigns, evaluate their marketing performance metrics, and collaborate with internal teams. You will have a strong marketing background with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities will include but are definitely not limited to:

  • Define ( in conjunction with the SLT)and execute the marketing plan and communication activities
  • Managing corporate communications, both internally and externally
  • Writing and distributing communication materials. This will include publicity content such as press releases, website copy, speeches.
  • Company's point of contact with their PR partner who will manage the media directly. Create and maintain this relationship to promote company's image. Providing comments and articles when required.
  • Accountability for company website, ensuring it is engaging and informative and brand building. Including the creation of content and ensuring the website is kept up to date.
  • Creating an annual plan of activities and events for the company to build our brand.
  • Coordinating / attending promotional events, conferences, launches, exhibitions.
  • Ensuring digital marketing content aligns with the company's brand identity and message.

You must be happy to work in a standalone role - though as the job evolves there is the expectation that the marketing team will grow too.

They are offering a competitive salary upto £85,000 plus a fabulous range of benefits including 30 days annual leave.
