Job description

Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 pro rata based on the hours
Hours: 20-25 hours per week (Spread over 5 days per week or longer days)
Location: Tunbridge Wells

This is a fantastic new position that has become available. An exciting opportunity! Working for a local, well established and progressive business.

You will have proven HR experience (CIPD qualification ideal but not essential) You will be required to work 20-25 hours per week, this can be spread over 5 days per week 4/5 hours per day or 3 or 4 full days.

You will be responsible for some of the following duties:

- Arranging bi-annual social events
- Updating HR systems with employee information
- Prepare offer letters/ employee contracts
- Record contract changes, promotions & salary updates
- Maintain employee personnel files
- Liaise with department managers regarding recruitment needs
- Organise new starter onboarding (induction/ paperwork/ training schedules)
- Ensure company policies are up to date and compliant
- Keep records for disciplinary/ grievance procedures
- Supporting manangers with documentation for HR cases
- Act as first point of contact for basic HR queries such as holiday, entitment, policies
- Maintain return-to-work records
- Absence/ leave management
