Receptionist / Administrator - Medical Practice (Tidworth, Wiltshire)
Full-time | Temporary | £14.48 per hour | 37 hours per week
Our public sector client in Tidworth, Hampshire is seeking a motivated and professional Receptionist/Administrator to join their busy Medical Practice on a short-term, full-time temporary assignment.
Working hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
- Friday: 8:00am - 4:00pm
About the Role
As a key member of the administrative team, you'll provide support to ensure the smooth running of the practice. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing calls, booking appointments, and handling incoming correspondence.
- Monitoring shared inboxes and maintaining accurate patient records.
- Scanning and processing appointment letters and other documentation.
- Providing professional front-of-house support - welcoming and checking in patients and updating medical notes on SharePoint.
About You
We're looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering excellent service. The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 12 months' experience in reception and administration roles.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including SharePoint.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
- The ability to work effectively within a structured, team-oriented environment.
Additional Requirements
- A clear DBS check and three years of employment referencing are required prior to appointment.
